The table as shown has been treated with a matte lacquer. Matte lacquer is the most common and user-friendly finish. Due to the matt lacquer, the table top does not get a different color and the wood appears untreated. With a matt lacquer, the wood is protected against moisture and dirt and the table can be wiped with a damp cloth. You can also choose to finish the table with an oil.
